What is Match Madness?
Match Madness is a fundraising campaign run by Partnership for Better Health, in which they select nonprofit organizations who have received grants from their organization in the past and invite them to participate in a month of dedicated fundraising that is eligible to receive matching funds, making the gifted funds stretch even farther than they would on their own!
How your partnership will help young women Spring Forward at Bethany House

Seed
In initial meetings with Bethany House staff, we work with each young woman to collaboratively build a plan for their independence, creating healthy soil where these planted seeds will thrive.

Sprout
As time progresses, staff works with each resident to pull out weeds of old habits and patterns and build structures as goals are set to guide progress. Often these are goals related to staying at a job and building their savings account.

Bud
Next, buds start to appear as employment is maintained and savings accounts begin to build. This is when some pruning takes place to ensure that time and energy are spent on steps that lead to independence.

Bloom
At last! What a beautiful bloom we see as goals are met, and young women begin to feel the safety to embrace who they are, reaching towards the bright future they have imagined for themselves.
In order for your gift to be counted towards our total for Match Madness, gifts need to be made through the Partnership for Better Health website at the button below. Once you arrive at their website’s donation page, you will need to select “Bethany House of Cumberland County” on the dropdown box, and the amount you would like to give. Then, fill out the remainder of the form to send your gift!
If you prefer to give by check, please make your gift out to Partnership for Better Health and included Bethany House in the memo line. Checks can be mailed to Partnership for Better Health at 247 Wilson Street, Carlisle, PA 17013, and must be post marked on or before March 31st, 2025.
All gifts need to be submitted between March 1st and March 31st of 2025 to be considered as a part of the Match Madness Fundraiser.
